I find it really difficult to find wood as it is very rare that people have a wood burning fire place these days. Often buying logs from any normal shop means they are damp and low quality and therefore don't burn properly, just creating a lot of smoke! I buy both the briquettes and dried logs from Biohot. Their service is impeccable and delivery is always really quick and free to mainland Scotland. Highly recommend the company.
